Vintage Wood Handmade Burial Casket Coffin Halloween Prop Display

This appears to be a wood handmade child's casket.  It was found in a closed church in Southern IL.  History on the piece is unknown.  It does appear to be handmade.  Has lots of concerns:  wood splitting, wood missing, beat up, dents, dings, missing color, pieces gone, and the like.  You can tell it once had some type of closure/lock maybe on the front and handles on the sides.
Measures about 38" L x 13" H x 13" W  You can tell it is for a small person.
It is a solid piece and vey heavy.  Local pick up.
