Vintage Art Deco Bakelite Catalin Lucite Table Lamp

Description

This is a beautiful vintage Art Deco bakelite / catalin and lucite lamp.
I would estimate it dates circa 1930s or 1940s.
Including the finial, it measures 15 1/4 inches tall (38.7 cm). The bakelite lamp itself measures 7 3/8 inches tall (18.7 cm). The base measures 3 1/8 inches x 2 5/8 inches (7.9 cm x 6.7 cm).
The bakelite ranges from a light orange to a darker orange all over. The lucite is an amber color.
There are scattered dings and wear to the finish. There is a ding on each of the bottom outer corners, with one being more noticeable than the others. It looks like someone may have tried to clean it at some point and made some scratch marks on one side of the base. You can see this in the photos. It tends to blend in when you are standing just a little ways back though. The lucite has some kind of a film on it, though this did not wipe off with water. It also has a few scattered dings to the surface. Most of this also tends to just blend in when you are standing a little ways back.
The lamp is working, but I always recommend rewiring any vintage lighting.
It weighs a little over 15 ounces (430 g).
