(See photo)Sealer or glue around base and ball that appears to have been applied during manufacture. Can be seen inside base also. (Look closely at these photos. Seems impossible that one could crack it so cleanly without chipping anywhere. I have looked for this vase for a comparison and I can’t find the vase!)
