    If it’s inconvenient to have a phone in remote location but do not want to miss a call, this ringer “sounds off,” enabling someone to pick up the nearest phone. A plastic enclosed ringer produces a loud noise like the older, standard telephones. In noisy areas, where an electronic bell isn’t loud enough to be heard, this mechanical ringer assures important calls won’t be missed. It also can be connected between the telephone and the all plate if a ring louder than normal is required.
