For this listing we offer one (1) original vintage 1960'a
Complete Slotmaster Guide Kit 3/16" Post by BuzCo, featuring Self Centering Guide.  For 1/32  1/24  1/25 scales.
This Kit is a very compact package. Very impressive technology for the time.
Features:
1 Special Nylon Deep Pick-up Guide with
2 contact brushes
which measure 3/4" X 3/16"

2 screws for the brushes with
1 presser clip collar and
1 screw to hold the guide, 3/16" Post &
1 complete instructions, how to install the brushes and pick-up guide.
Manufactured in the 1960's by BuzCo Mfg. Co.;
North Hollywood, CA   BuzCo Part # 80.
Instruction Info:
Install Slot Guide in chassis and slip retainer down over Slot Guide shank.  Align retainer with Slot Guide and install self-tapping screw.  Loop small rubber band (Not supplied) over the "T" section of the retainer and attach the other end of the rubber band on some part of the chassis or motor that is in line with the Slot Guide.  Adjust the tension of the ribber band so that Slot Guide with snap back to center from any position .  Solder motor leads in the small holes in the clamps; then attach clamps to Slot Guide with self tapping screws.  Cut the pic-up braids in half, slip one piece under each clamp and tighten clamp screws.  Bend braid back and trim off at back edge of Slot Guide.  Loosen clamp screws about one turn to remove worn braid.  Slip new braid under clamps and tighten screws.
My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.  The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used.  I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.  Please email with any questions specific to something I may have missed.
